College life

South College offers a vibrant, varied and enriching collegiate experience. Our students study every academic discipline taught at Durham and they have an impressive range of social, sporting, and cultural interests.

South has a wide range of sports teams and societies. They range from our boat club and music society to a kazoo society. A lot is already in place, but if you would like to start something new, we will support you. Above all, the College provides a safe and enriching environment that our students are proud to call home.

Regardless of your interests, academic discipline, or background, we have designed South College to be a community in which every student feels welcome, respected, and inspired.
