Russian Language 2A

The aim of this module is to raise student's awareness of issues relating to translation, and to deal with a range of texts in a variety of registers in both Russian and English. Texts will be translated in class, and as formative homework assignments. It also aims to develop writing skills in Russian, and oral communication through discussion of a range of related topics in Russian. During the second year students will be introduced to a range of topics and skills that will be directly relevant to their preparation for their year abroad.
