Durham river and Cathedral view

We are very pleased to announce Dr Rivka Isaacson of King’s College London as the 2021 (and 8th) Judith Howard Lecturer.

It’s a very fitting time to announce Dr Rivka Isaacson as the Judith Howard Lecturer as we have just seen the anniversary of the birth of Dorothy Hodgkin, the Nobel prize winning crystallographer who famously determined the structure of vitamin B12 and who also, very importantly to the BSI, was Professor Judith Howard’s PhD supervisor.

We look forward to welcoming Rivka to Durham soon, whether that is in real-life or in virtual form. Full details of the Howard Prize Lecture and satellite activities will be announced soon on the BSI Event pages and through the twitter handle @Durham_BSI.
