Biography

I am a veterinarian with experience in field epidemiology, mixed-method research, and public health policy, specialising in zoonotic diseases. I am particularly interested in using mixed-methods to explore how animal-human interactions drive zoonotic disease transmission, such as Ebola, Lassa, rabies, and monkeypox viruses.

I graduated as veterinarian from the University of Bristol and have an MSc in One Health awarded jointly by the Royal Veterinary College and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I am a graduate of the Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
