Durham Publications in Medieval and Early Modern Studies

A partnership between the Institute of Medieval and Early Modern Studies and the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, Toronto Canada.

Durham Publications in Medieval and Early Modern Studies comprises two fully-reviewed publication series:

  • Texts and Translations - critical editions and translations of rare medieval and early modern literary and historical sources, covering the period c.350 – 1620.
  • Monographs and Essays -  scholarly monographs from any discipline within the period c.350-c.1620.

The complete catalogue of publications is available from the Pontifical Institute for Mediaeval Studies. Volumes may be purchased from PIMS directly for residents of North America. In addition, many of our publications can be purchased directly from the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre at Palace Green Library in Durham.
