Arrival dates and Welcome Service 2024

If you book this service, you will be greeted at the Newcastle Airport by our Welcome Team who will guide you towards your onward travel to Durham. Once in Durham there will be transport on to your accommodation in college or the private sector.

New International Students - Meet and Greet Service 2024.

New international students who arrive at Newcastle Airport on the dates below can book our Meet and Greet Service:

10 Week Pre-sessional Students:  6th July 2024

6 Week Pre-sessional Students: 3rd August 2024

September arrival: 25th and 26th September 2024

  • Booking forms for Pre-sessional arrivals will be sent to you directly closer to date of the service.
  • Booking forms for the September Meet and Greet service will be available on this webpage closer to date of the service.
  • A set of FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) for each meet and greet service will be published in due course. Please keep checking this webpage for updates.

*Please note:

  • Upon successful completion of the form, your place for the meet and greet service will be reserved. No further confirmation email will be sent out. 
  • In order to help with sorting of  the luggage at the airport, it is advised to advised to bring no more than two suitcases and your hand luggage. please tie a yellow ribbon on to the handle of your suitcase so that it can be easily identified as belonging to a Durham University student.
