Handmade folded books in a variety of forms by artist Maggie Hickman Smith

Join us for creative workshop lead by artist Maggie Hickman Smith.

You will be guided through the techniques and processes of measuring, cutting and constructing your own folded book and see several examples of how these simple forms can inspire you to develop and pursue your own more complex ideas, using your individual skills to enhance the scale, look or purpose of the books.

The use of different themes, colours, poetic or inspirational quotes, or a special message can be ways to personalise your work. Your folded books can be given to friends and family or kept as a treasured reminder of the day.
