From early years to post-16, the Collections Outreach Schools and Home Education programme supports the development and transition of historical enquiry skills. Inspiring thought, creativity and theory construction as well as the research confidence centred in our collections.

Come along to Little Dragons under-fives group and explore the Oriental Museum's fantastic collections and exhibitions.

Creative Age

Creative Age is a free, weekly art group for people living with dementia or other long-term health challenges and their carers.

Explore, learn and create with our programme of free family activities. Families can get creative all year long.

Art Online

Art Online is a platform for everyone, filled with activities, resources, quizzes and learning.

    To celebrate 2022's World Heritage Site Day, Durham Cathedral and Durham University commissioned local artist Sofia Barton to develop free resources for eight local schools.
