Away From Home: The Untold Stories of Women Football Fans tells the stories of women fans of Newcastle United and Sunderland AFC from the 1950s to the present day.

Based on research by leading expert on women, football and inequalities, Professor Stacey Pope, the exhibition features historic and contemporary photos and newly produced artworks reflecting fan memories and experiences.

The exhibition also shares ongoing research which aims to ensure that football is a safe, welcoming and inclusive sport for everyone.
