Biography
Mini Biography
Gavin is Associate Dean (Education & Accreditations) in the Faculty of Business and an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting.
Gavin, an Associate Professor in Accounting and Chartered Management Accountant, joined the Business School in September 2012. Currently Associate Dean (Education & Accreditations) for the Faculty of Business, Gavin has held accounting examiner positions for the Association of International Accountants (AIA), the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants (CIPFA), Sheffield University Management School and Exeter University Business School. Gavin has previously enjoyed a career spanning audit and financial management with NatWest Bank plc, the Legal Services Commission and the National Health Service. Gavin's current teaching areas comprise business law, financial accounting/reporting and taxation.
