Biography

Dr. Xinyi Huang is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in Economics and Finance at Durham University Business School. She joined the School in September 2016. Prior to joining Durham, she has had many years’ both academic and industrial experience at several universities and companies such as University of Bath, University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and Zhejiang University (China).

Xinyi holds a PhD in Finance from the School of Management, University of Bath. Her main research interests include banking and financial networks, financial statement analysis, financial stability and systemic risk, credit derivatives, financial market and corporate governance. She has given presentations at a broad range of workshops and international conferences. In addition, Xinyi is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Mini Biography

Xinyi Huang joined Durham University Business School as an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in Economics and Finance in 2016. Prior to joining Durham, She held positions at several universities including University of Bath, University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and Zhejiang University (China). Her main research interests lie in banking and financial networks, financial market and corporate governance.
