Join us for an afternoon of activities celebrating Bangladeshi independence and Bengali culture. Visitors can get hands on with Bangladeshi objects including a rare replica of the Bangladeshi Constitution.

Celebrating Bangladeshi independence
Children can try making a traditional mask often worn during Bangladeshi parades and Pohela Boishakh – the Bengali New Year festivals.
There will also be dual language readings in Bengali and English.
Everyone is welcome. This event is free of charge.
This event is held in collaboration with Bangladeshi student community volunteers at Ustinov College, Durham University.
