Everyday Inspirations Showcase: Script-in-Hand Readings, Open Mic & Q&A with Dr. Louise Powell

Celebrate the extraordinary talents of Josephine Butler and Waddington Street writers at this script-in-hand showcase. Professional actors Angela Rose and Kieran Barker will read monologues, flash fiction and spoken word pieces on the theme of Everyday Inspirations. Created during workshops run by Josephine Butler’s Writer-in-Residence and award-winning playwright Dr Louise Powell, the showcase is a celebration of the power of the everyday. It features pieces about Declan Donnelly, sparkly hairbands and faith, among others, along with Open Mic spots and a Q&A session on working as a professional in the creative industries.
