Jointly organised by Durham University Business School, UK and Rajendra Mishra School of Engineering Entrepreneurship, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. A two-day workshop conducted on the theme of “Digital Technologies in Healthcare Delivery: Enablers and Policy Implications”. This workshop is designed with the aim at creating a partnership between people from university, industry and government to discuss the research and development of Digital Technologies in Healthcare.
Workshop: Digital Technologies in Healthcare Delivery: Enablers and Policy Implications
The first-day will involve showcasing research conducted by the two institutions and other leading academics working on digital healthcare, presentations by innovative healthcare technology firms in India and a panel discussion involving academics, industry executives and government officials.
The second day will include group activity on identification of future areas of research related to the theme and relevant to the Indian context, developing ideas for grant proposals, and developing a proposal for call for papers in a leading journal.
Faculty, professionals, research scholars, entrepreneurs, individuals involved in healthcare organizations, NGOs, CSR activists, and policy makers etc. involved in healthcare delivery and engineering entrepreneurship based on application of digital technologies in healthcare and other socially relevant sectors.

There will be an application fee of Rs. 500 (non-refundable) for all the delegates. Delegates will be shortlisted and asked to pay the registration fee as appropriate. Registration fee for the workshop will be refunded to the students only if he/she attends the workshop. The fee includes all instructional materials, 24 hr free internet facility, refreshments during the workshop including lunch and dinner, and transportation between the Guest House and the workshop venue. Participation certificate will be provided at the end of the workshop.
