Following an inspiring discussion led by Professor Sridhar Tayur on how Operational Research (OR) can help to decide what to do first after a major disaster, and further discussions with the Heads of OR and Analytics Forum (HORAF), Chair of Committee of Professors in OR (COPIOR), Dr Kostas Nikolopoulos is hosting this hybrid conference to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey-Syria.

Information

• Keynotes will be provided by Sridhar Tayur, Sridhar Seshadri, Emel Aktas, Nezih Altay, Dilek Onkal with an opening from COPIOR Chair and closing from the HORAF Chair.
• All proceeds go to Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal, British Red Cross (or another charity of your preference);
• Registration fee to your discretion: (suggested) £100 Keynotes, £50 Posters/paper (£20 Posters/Paper in Absentia). For transparency participants will donate directly to the charities and proof of donation will be the registration.
• Programme Committee: Kostas Nikolopoulos, Neil Walton, and Julian Williams.

• The best paper also will be invited for publication to the OUP IMA Journal of Management Mathematics.
