Biography
Allison manages the work of the Educational Development Unit. The Unit work closely with academic staff to design, produce and deliver online and blended courses underpinned by effective pedagogical practice. The Unit also offers practical advice and guidance on using technology effectively in the classroom and online.
Allison is passionate about delivering great student-centred learning experiences and holds a Masters in Online and Distance Education from the Open University and a CMALT accreditation. She has extensive experience delivering user-centred design online and was the project lead for Durham University’s first two MOOCs (massive open online courses).
