May Tsai is the Assistant Digital Learning Designer located within the Educational Development Unit at Durham University Business School. She has a strong enthusiasm and dedication for the new educational technologies, supporting the mission to transform education through exemplary learning design and effective user experience in Higher Ed. Her design approaches and strategies are built through a user-centred lens that connects learning to new possibilities and problem-solving solutions.
She holds a Masters in Education and Technology with a specialisation in Blended Learning Design at University College London. She is a curious individual with a growth mindset. She is interested in everything that can improve learning experiences and outcomes, aiming to learn more about cognitive science, theories of motivation, gamification, storytelling, design thinking, learning analytics, graphic design, and media production in the future.
