Biography
PhD candidate, Teaching Assistant
Fauziah Rizki Yuniarti is an Indonesian government-funded (LPDP) PhD candidate in Economic Geography at Durham University, UK, focusing on the financial geography of sustainable finance in Indonesia. She is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Durham University Business School and a Foundation Fellow at Durham University. She holds an MSc in Islamic Finance from Durham University (as an LPDP Scholar) and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Indonesia. With over twelve years of experience as a researcher and associate lecturer, she has published extensively, including a journal article in Development in Practice, three policy briefs, eight op-eds articles, and eighteen research papers; and presented her work at nine international conferences. She is a regular media commentator on Islamic finance, featured in over 200 news articles, including CNN Indonesia, CNBC Indonesia, The Jakarta Post, Salaam Gateway, Asiamoney, Kompas, and Republika. Since 2013, she has secured GBP 93,000 in research grants and GBP 277,000 in awards.
Her current research is on the financial geography of sustainable finance examining the financial ecologies and power dynamics in governing the sustainable finance policy in Indonesia.
