Jennifer is a dedicated member of the Educational Development Unit at the Business School and the lead designer for the Online MBA. She is passionate about creating high-quality online, blended, and traditional course objectives through engaging learning activities and compelling course content. As a digital learning designer, Jenn designs, develops, and supports learning initiatives for both academics and tutors across the faculty. She holds an MSc in Digital Education from The University of Edinburgh and has a keen interest in active engagement, including playful and game-based learning. Additionally, Jennifer serves as the volunteering champion within the Business School, supporting the broader community.
Jennifer’s contributions to the Faculty of Business include:
- Discussing digital resources to enhance the delivery of teaching and learning, including transitioning from traditional to technology-enhanced methods.
- Providing training and support on using digital tools, such as webinar software and discussion boards.
- Assisting in selecting appropriate educational technology to meet accessibility standards in module creation.
- Collaborating with academics to ensure content aligns with learning objectives in an engaging format.
- Structuring, creating, and developing high-quality, learner-centered support resources.
- Coordinating and supporting the development of instructional digital media, including storyboarding and audio scripts for video production
