Lorraine Rankin was appointed in July 2015 as the Senior Programme Manager (Postgraduate Taught Programmes) at the Business School. She is responsible for managing the PGT team and delivering the post graduate taught programmes across the School e.g. MBAs, MScs, EBS, Exec Ed.
Lorraine Rankin started her career at Durham University Business School as a Teaching Company Associate (KTP) over twenty years ago. Since then she has gained considerable management experience working in both the private sector and local government in the North East. She has worked at a senior level managing business support teams, implementing management systems, developing corporate policies and leading significant organisational development.
Specific areas of business management expertise include quality and performance management, organisational and employee development, project management and transformational change. She also has a Masters by Research from the Business School in “Quality Management and Supplier Development”.
