Biography
Nail Tahirov is an Assistant Professor in Operations & Supply Chain Management at Durham University Business School. He holds a PhD in Production and Supply Chain Management from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and completed postdoctoral research at the Sustainable Operations Management Chair at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. His research explores management science techniques and practices across various industry domains, with a focus on consultancy projects in areas such as internal logistics, scheduling optimization, operations improvement, and corporate education. Dr. Tahirov has published in reknown scientific journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Annals of Operations Research, and the INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics.
