Nora Berghoff joined Durham University Business School in September 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher in the Management and Marketing Department. Nora’s primary research interests focus on impostorism, proactive behaviour and growth mindsets. She currently completes her PhD at Leeds University Business School in Organisational Behaviour, investigating how employees cope with their experience of impostorism by engaging in information seeking and feedback seeking behaviours. Nora has presented her research at international conferences, such as Academy of Management meeting 2023 and the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology conference 2023.
Before joining Durham University, Nora worked as a Teaching Fellow at Leeds University Business School and taught core modules in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At Durham University Business School, Nora is a member of the Centre for Leadership and Followership. Working on the Smart & Scale project (PI: Prof. Maria Kakarika), she investigates how participation in running events influences leaders’ work-related outcomes and follower’s perception.
