There are a number of PhD Scholarships available for 2022-23 entry. These are linked to a range of research areas supported by the School. Apply before 31 May 2022.

The School has PhD scholarships available for the very best students looking to start their PhD with Durham University Business School in October 2022.

Each scholarship is funded for a period of three years and pays for tuition fees at Home and international level as well as a financial stipend for each of the three years. The School welcomes applications from the very best Home, EU and overseas students.

Prospective applicants should contact members of the research centres with details of their proposed research topic to seek their advice on developing the proposal they wish to submit.

Business-related PhD

The School’s PhD programmes cover the business-related subject areas of Accounting, Economics & Finance and Management & Marketing allowing you to become a recognised expert in your chosen field. You will cultivate high-level skills of analysis and appraisal, be able to use a range of research methodologies, and will work independently.
