The Complete University Guide (CUG) published subject level tables of the School’s undergraduate subjects featuring three subjects in the top ten. Both Accounting and Finance and Marketing have made the top three nationally, while Economics has risen an impressive 10 places to 6th.

Our highly rated Accounting and Finance programme is up 7 places to achieve its 3rd place in the UK and in terms of graduate prospects, the School ranks 5th for this nationally. In addition, 90% of our Accounting and Finance recent graduates consider their careers to be ‘on track’, the second-highest in the country and highest out of the Russell Group universities.

The School’s Economics programme made a substantial jump of 10 places in this year’s rankings being placed 6th. Career outcomes for Economics were also recognised and rank joint 2nd for this nationally with 96% of our recent Economics graduates working in graduate-level skilled jobs. Furthermore, 89% of the same graduates consider their careers to be ‘on track’, joint 4th in the country.

Additionally, our undergraduate Marketing provision continues to be highly regarded moving up 1 place to 3rd nationally and we’ve received Highest Student Satisfaction score in the Russell Group based on 2021 NSS results, the third consecutive year we have been first or second.
