Educational Responsible Research & Innovation (RRI) Toolkit – EDU RRI

The EDU RRI project aimed to consolidate insights and findings from the UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) Hub projects and to support the training of the next generation of TAS designers and educators.

The EDU RRI Toolkit is a collection of teaching and learning resources and other support materials, specifically designed for those who wish to introduce aspects of responsible research and innovation (RRI) in their practice.

We developed these resources in a way that can be used for all levels and types of learners (with certain adaptations); yet, they have been developed primarily with early career researchers in mind (such as doctoral students) and those who wish to engage with RRI.

EDU RRI is part of the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) Hub (https://tas.ac.uk), funded by UKRI. The team received funding in 2023, within the context of the Agile/Integrator Round 3 Call, focused on the TAS’ Legacy & Impact.

The full toolkit can be downloaded from here.

We believe that all educators should have access to the EDU RRI toolkit and that all university departments and education-focused entities should have free access to the materials we have produced. This is why we provide our toolkit with a CC BY-SA license that helps you reuse, adapt and extend the toolkit in any way you see fit. We only ask that you give appropriate credit to our team and that any adaptations will be governed by the same type of licensing.
