Mr Putu Ardiana

Putu is a PhD student in Accounting under supervision of Professor Richard Slack and Professor Carol Adams. He obtained Masters in Accounting and Finance with distinction from the University of Adelaide, Australia and received a life-time membership from the Golden Key International Honour Society in 2009. He is an Indonesian Chartered Accountant and holds certification in sustainability reporting and assurance from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR). His research interests are in the area of sustainability reporting and assurance and his teaching interests are in cost accounting and management accounting. He has been teaching both courses at Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia since 2005.
Research topic/thesis title: Stakeholder Engagement in Sustainability Reporting: Case of Indonesia
My research aims to explore the institutionalisation of stakeholder engagement practices and disclosures in sustainability reporting (SR) in four Indonesian companies as well as to understand their similarities and differences over time by investigating regulative, normative, and cognitive forces in the field of stakeholder engagement in Indonesia.
