My recommendation to anybody considering applying to Durham University is to give it a go as you surely will not be disappointed. Moreover, I have met many Masters students that completed their undergraduate degree here and did not want to do a postgraduate degree anywhere else. If you are diligent with your work, you will find plenty of time to enjoy the city of Durham and the wonderful student atmosphere while being met with success.

There are many reasons why I decided to embark on the MSc Finance course at Durham University. The unique college system provides many opportunities to engage in sports and social events making it very easy to make a huge number of friends. I was personally very Impressed with the quality of the lecturers, recourses available, and organisation of the Business School. I have gained in-depth knowledge across a wide array of financial sectors, placing me in excellent stead to enter the corporate world. I have been fortunate enough to secure a role within one of the big four accountancy firms.

The key reasons why I chose Durham University Business School was its triple accreditation, high ranking of the Management programme, and a great reputation domestically as well as internationally. The Business School also offered a variety of optional modules, alongside the core modules, that allowed me to specialise and focus on subjects that suited my interests and professional goals. One of the highlights of my year was the International Study Tour – an optional module that the Business School offers – that presented a unique opportunity and allowed me to meet and interact with various businesses based in Stockholm.
