Pay and wider benefits

Durham’s wider reward and benefits structure remains highly competitive, and we regularly review and improve our employment benefits and practices to ensure we remain a responsible and attractive employer for our staff.  Our joint work with UCU on casualisation is an example of this. The fact Durham is an attractive employer is reflected by the high demand for roles when advertised, and by low staff turnover compared to the sector.
