With an IWD theme of “breaking biases and stereotypes” across DU this year, this panel discussion will provide an opportunity for our remarkable female chaplains to share their lived experiences and how they have countered and addressed biases or stereotypes along the way.

Join us for an unmissable International Women's Day panel discussion featuring our inspiring female chaplains at Durham University.

We look forward to a rich discourse between our panellists:

  • Revd Canon Anna Brooker, Chaplain at St John’s College, DU
  • Dharma Master Lizzie Coombs, DU Buddhist Chaplain
  • Dr Mahshid Turner, DU Muslim Chaplain

The discussion will be chaired by Revd Dr Stephanie Burette (Chaplain and Solway Fellow at University College, DU) and will be followed by 15 minutes of questions from the audience.

This will be held via Zoom. Once you have registered, please save the event details in your diary and we will provide you with the Zoom link a few days before the event.
