The ESRC Festival of Social Science is an annual series of events, held in both Durham and across the country, offering a fascinating insight into some of the world’s leading social science research and resulting impact.
ESRC Festival of Social Science 2021
Throughout November, academics from Durham University and partner institutions from all parts of the UK will promote awareness of the social sciences in over 300 national Festival events. Working with collaborators from the business and community sectors, Durham researchers will welcome audiences and partners and share their research findings and impact on a very wide range of social science academic research themes, including Climate Change, Covid-19, Crime & Justice, Education & Employment, Equality and Health & Wellbeing.
This year will also highlight several events linked to many of the topics and themes being raised at the United Nations Climate Change Conference UK 2021, also known as COP26, in Glasgow.
