Dr Katalin Sulyok has been selected as Lead Author in Working Group 3 of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) during the IPCC's 7th Assessment Cycle running until 2029.

Dr Katalin Sulyok has been selected as Lead Author in Working Group 3 of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) during the IPCC's 7th Assessment Cycle running until 2029. Dr Sulyok will contribute to Chapter 5, which will discuss the enablers and disablers of climate action, which is closely aligned with her expertise and the research agenda of the JustN0W team and Durham Law School, where she is an Associate Professor in International Law and Sustainability.
Lead Authors are responsible for producing designated sections of the report by summarising the best scientific and socio-economic information available.
IPCC reports are highly influential outputs that shape both policy-making processes on the domestic and international levels and provide robust scientific evidence in climate litigation before national and international courts.
