MSc Scientific Computing and Data Analysis 

IDAS academics in the departments of Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, and Physics provide postgraduate training through a one-year MSc programme in Scientific Computing and Data Analysis.  

Apart from lectures and tutorials covering a wide range of topics relevant to the analysis and modelling of scientific data, students choose one of two specialisations – either astronomy or particle physics. Our students are also given the opportunity to apply their newly formed skills in a team-based project, either in an academic setting or with one of our industrial partners.
