How is subjective experience integrated (or not) into mental health science? Contribute your views in a survey for the SUNRISE study.

Durham University’s Institute for Medical Humanities is collaborating on the SUNRISE study –  a project led by the McPin Foundation and Alison Faulkner, Independent Survivor Researcher. It has been commissioned by  Wellcome’s Mental Health programme and aims to explore the ways in which research engages with people’s direct experiences of mental health problems as a source of insight and understanding.

An online survey forms the final part of the commission. If you are a researcher exploring mental health from any discipline across the globe, we want to hear your views.

You can find the survey here: SUNRISE study survey.

We expect it will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
