In this hybrid event, we will explore some of the core ideas and ways of working central to the ‘critical medical humanities’, a field of research that includes diverse perspectives from academia, people with lived experience, healthcare and public health.

Following an introduction from The Polyphony, researchers and experts working in the health and voluntary sectors will share their response to the brochure and highlight how medical humanities approaches can enhance work in their sectors.

This event is for researchers from different disciplines, students, health and voluntary sector professionals – anyone who is curious about the medical humanities and would like to find out more about this vibrant interdisciplinary field.
