Biography

Abhishek is currently working as a research associate with Prof. David Wood on diamond power electronics. He was a Marie Curie Early Stage Reseacher (ESR) at the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences, Durham university, where he inverstigated the methods of fabrication and characterization of nanowires. He was supervised by Prof. Dagou Zeze and Dr. Andrew Gallant. He carried out his bachelors and masters in Nanotechnology (2007-13) spanned over Amity University, India and KU Leuven, Belgium. He was an international scholar at IMEC, Belgium where he completed his master thesis in the domain of photovoltaics. During his undergraduate studies, he achieved the prestigious fellowship from the Indian Academy of Sciences.
