Dr Chao Wang
Biography
Dr Charles Chao Wang is an Assistant Professor at Durham Law School. His research and teaching interests encompass corporate law, financial regulation, law and technology, and international economic law. He adopts comparative and empirical methodologies to explore the evolution of legal institutions, with a particular focus on Chinese law and its interaction with international and transnational legal regimes.
Dr Wang has published widely in leading academic journals, including Journal of Corporate Law Studies, Securities Regulation Law Journal, and American University International Law Review. His recent scholarship addresses pressing global issues such as comparative corporate governance, the regulation of artificial intelligence, and the legal dimensions of national security reviews in cross-border investment.
