School can often be a very busy sensory expereince, with lots of bright lights, colourful displays, and the noisy chatter of children! This type of environment might be particulary challenging for those children who expereince sensory processing differences. My PhD therefore adopts a multi-method, multi-informat approach to understand how sensory processing differences impact learning and school life for autistic and neurotypical children.
