Biography

I am graduated with a PhD degree in statistical science working on brain signals and their mathematical geometry in the brain-computer interface and relevant analysis in the machine learning context. Since 2018, I am one of the research staff members in bio-statistics based in Anthropology department at Durham University.

I am now following my interest in public health. I have been involved in several (cluster) randomised controlled studies in clinical trials (details in CV) as statistician in which I have been responsible for the design of studies, analyses and interpretations. I have experience in taking lead and responsibility of the day-to-day running of work package on analysing in long term research grants mainly funded by National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). I am sitting in NIHR Research Design Service North East and North Cumbria (RDS-NENC) meetings to offer specialist advice for researchers who wish to design their studies for the purpose of grant applications. Similarly, I am a memebr of Durham Biostat Unit and one of the research fellow at Durham Research Methods Centre (DRMC) at Durham University and I have been in a position to offer statistical consultations and advises on post-graduates and academic staff’s projects.
