Biography
I have a BA in ‘Sport, Exercise and Physical Activity’ and MSCR in ‘Sport and Exercise Sciences’ both from Durham University.
Research
My PhD research is focusing on asymmetry in football, with specific reference to the effect asymmetry has on football specific performance. This research will examine whether muscle asymmetry in the lower-limbs has an impact on football specific actions such as kicking, jumping, changing direction and agility. Differences between participation standard, gender and playing position will also be examined.
