Biography
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Leeds before finishing my master's degree at the University of Warwick. I then completed my doctoral studies here at Durham University, submitting a thesis exploring some of the ways in which we experience a sense of disconnection from ecological crisis. During my time at Durham I have been involved in delivering teaching to undergraduates on the modules Being Human and Science, Medicine, and Society. I am currently an Honorary Associate in the Department of Philosophy.
My research primarily focuses on the intersection between technology and the environment and I have strong interests in phenomenological method. I am fascinated by the impacts of rapid and widespread technological change with an interest in the varied existential, ontological, and ethical implications.
In my free time I enjoy music, painting, exercise, and spending time outdoors.
