Biography
Pia joined Durham University as an Assistant Professor in 2025, a joint appointment between the Law School and Economics Department. She is an economist studying the technological shift towards a low carbon and increasingly digital economy and the challenges involved in making these transitions just and inclusive.
Pia holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
