Biography

Sarah is an EPSRC funded postgraduate research student in Energy Systems Modelling in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. Sarah received her undergraduate Master's degree in New and Renewable Energy from the Durham University in 2013, and her MSc in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde in 2014. She rejoined Durham University in October 2014 for her PhD. 

Sarah is a member of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy at Durham, and as of November 2016 has been appointed a PhD Fellow of the Durham Energy Institute.

Responsibilities

Sarah is currently the PhD Student Rep on the Athena Swan committee for the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. She is also a member of the Staff-Student Consultative Committee for Research. 

For the academic year 2015-2016 Sarah co-ordinated the internal seminar series for the Energy Networks research group.
