Sharon is the Capital Accounting Officer in the Accounts Payable Section, joining the University in 1998 as a Finance Assistant supporting the Colleges Division. She started her current role in 2003, having previously worked for a Local Development Agency as Finance Administrator. She is qualified to AAT level and a part-qualified ACCA member. Her role is to manage the University's Fixed Asset Register which maintains all capital expenditure incurred by the University. Her role requires her to liaise closely with external funding agencies, internal departments (especially Estates and Buildings Capital Projects), Faculty Accountants and Colleges.
