Students planning an exhibition

Curated by students from the Museum and Artefact MA programme, Beasts and Legends: Adventures through North East Folklore is a free exhibition that explores the development of storytelling and highlights various folktales from across Historic County Durham. In this talk, join members of the exhibition team as they share their experiences of curating the display. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A session.

Featuring a selection of artefacts from across Durham University’s collections, the exhibition invites visitors to connect with folktales through objects and interactive elements. The display also includes items on loan from Durham Cathedral, alongside artworks created through collaborative work with local artist Ruth Flowers.

Free and open to all. Please book via Eventbrite or by calling Palace Green Library on 0191 334 2932.
