DI: Live Can we prevent domestic abuse from happening in the first place?

Dr Burrell from the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse (CRiVA) will discuss societal awareness of domestic abuse which has grown significantly in recent years, but it remains a highly prevalent, devastating problem in the UK and internationally.

So is it possible for us to prevent it from happening in the first place? If so, what would we as a society need to do to make that happen? What examples are there of work seeking to do this? And how can all play in contributing to these preventative efforts?
