At noon there will be a minute’s silence when visitors are welcome to remember friends and family lost during Covid pandemic. Visitors will be invited to remember loved ones, by writing their names on large yellow petals or ribbons, to tie round the trees in the Field of Hope.

The 'Field of Hope' includes an impressive display of over 4,000 daffodils, the symbol of the Marie Curie Charity, planted by the volunteer Friends of the Botanic Garden in 2022.

Visitors to the Garden can see over 50 different species of daffodils in bloom until late April, when they will be joined by tulips and other spring flowers.
