Ustinov College's Global Citizenship Programme is proud to host this discussion with Alumna Alia Saeed Alshamsi, Head of Cultural Programming at the Louvre, Abu Dhabi. In a wide ranging interview, Alia will be speaking about her professional experiences to date, including her current role, her work as a published author and artist and her time as a Masters student at Ustinov College. A facilitated Q & A will follow the discussion.

About the Speaker:
Alia is the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Head of Cultural Programming with extensive expertise and experience in Arts and Culture. She attended Durham University from 2007 to 2008, as a member of Ustinov College, graduating with an MA in Photo-Image; her thesis was on Memory and the Photographic Archive.

A leader in the field representing the UAE on international platforms as an author and artist, art advisor and advocate for cultural dialogues, we are delighted to welcome Alia to this first 'Ustinov Meets...' session of the academic year. – Find out more about Alia here on Instagram
