Astronomer Copernicus, or Conversations with God by Jan Matejko

There has been much speculation as to whom Paul McCartney was referring to when he wrote "The Fool on the Hill" in 1967.  In this lecture, Simon will speculate who is the "fool on the hill", explore the fools on the hill that Simon has met in his own life and how they have challenged and shaped perceptions personally and more widely.  In so doing, we will discuss how we challenge accepted ideas, the essence of creative thinking, and it's importance to science and science education.
