We’ve recently welcomed over 20 new apprentices across the University and are able to fund their training thanks to the Government’s Apprenticeship Levy.

The Apprenticeship Levy gives employers like us the opportunity to invest in high-quality training and help to develop a skilled workforce.

Building our teams

The Apprenticeship Levy gives employers access to Government funding which can help fund training for new apprentices, as well as retrain and develop our current staff.

Apprenticeship-based training not only provides a fantastic opportunity for new roles within our departments, but it also enables existing staff to develop with professionally delivered accredited courses, which are relevant to their roles with us.

What’s even better is that we’re able to transfer up to 25% of our unused annual Apprenticeship Levy funds to other businesses to help them fund apprenticeship training for their staff.
