The Game Changer Innovation Programme, delivered by the Enterprise Team in Careers & Enterprise, has been chosen as one of 21 case studies to feature in the United Nations 'Sustainable Development Goals: Success Stories and Lessons Learned' publication.
Game Changer engages students with the Sustainable Development Goals and challenges them to generate innovative solutions using Design Thinking methodology. Since its launch in 2019, the programme has engaged over 700 students from all disciplines. Endorsement from the United Nations shows Game Changer as a key activity in SDG implementation, showcasing the impact that Durham University students can have to achieve positive change in the world.
Game Changer is a challenging and innovating extra-curricular programme to develop ideas that help tackle the world’s biggest problems. It is open to all students, and no prior knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals or Design Thinking is required.
Students can take part in a special edition of Game Changer on the 8th and 9th of June, 10am - 5pm.
This special edition of Game Changer is in partnership with Durham University Energy Institute, Charles Rivers Associates, and Durham County Council. We want you to bring your A-game and be ready to tackle problems around climate action and clean energy! For this edition of Game Changer, the prize pot is £3,500.
